Bullying Prevention at Powell

HERE AT POWELL…

We are committed to making our community an empathetic, safe and welcoming space for your student(s). Families are critical players in these efforts. One of the most proactive measures families can take to shield their students from bullying is to talk to them early and openly about what it means to bully or to be bullied. Below is the link to the DCPS Bullying Prevention Policy in which we implement to guide our practice of being an anti-bullying environment.

Invite and encourage your student(s) to join in conversations about what is an upstander, how they can be part of the solution instead of part of the problem, and why it’s important to be respectful and kind to everyone.
